M. Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia gave an opening speech for the 10th World Water Forum 2024 Kick-Off Meeting in Jakarta, 15th-16th February 2023. The Minister hoped through this kick-off meeting, there would be immediate discussion to find solutions for at least six major water resources problems. Such as Water for Human and Nature, Water Security and Prosperity, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Cooperation and Hydro-diplomacy, Water Innovative Finance, also about Knowledge and Innovation. The Kick-off Meeting provides participants the essential information on the framework and how to engage in the Forum process for a further one and a half years until the Forum period. The meeting is the first step of the Forum preparation, which will be segmented into themes, regions, and political levels.
